To live is to prepare for goodbye
For loneliness is a friend who will not betray
Believe not in happiness even in the passions of love
Confess not your love even if you would die for it
For love is like a season; it comes and goes to decorate life's boredom
The moment you call it love, it melts away like an ice sculpture
Happiness lasts not forever as despair lasts not forever
Some days, there's goodbye and some days, there's hello
At death, some look back on being loved
While some look back on having loved
And I shall look back on having loved

FRIEND(ワインレッドの心)

Sayonara dake  Ie nai mama
Kimi no kage no naka ni  Ima namida ga ochite yuku

Tsume taku naru
Futari kurashite kita  Kaori saega kiete yuku

Friend
Mou Friend  Kokoro kara Friend
Mitsume temo Friend  Kanashi ku naru

Sou i de ni wa  Deki nai kara
Yume ka same temo mada  Yume miru hito wasure nai

Mou Friend  Kirei dayo Friend  Kono mamade Friend  Yasashiku

Friend
Mou Friend  Kokoro Kara Friend  Itsu mademo Friend
今日からFriend
Koyou kara Friend

DEAR FRIEND

Oh~ Friend

Oh~ Friend

Oh~ Friend

Friend~

(Papa, Can You Hear Me Sing?)

吾少时好学,周遍天下后,还丧吾亲,是一失也;
长事齐君,君骄奢失士,臣节不遂,是二失也;
树欲静而风不停,子欲养而亲不待,往而不来者,年也;

Right Here Waiting

Right Here Waiting by Richard Marx (born September 16, 1963) was the second album from Repeat Offender released in 1989, after his first album Satisfied. He wrote the song on the road as a love letter to his wife, actress Cynthia Rhodes who is seven years his senior when she was in South Africa shooting for a film.

After a four-year courtship, the couple married on January 8, 1989 and Rhodes retired from film acting, dancing and singing to become stay-at-home mother to the couple's three sons in Lake Bluff, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.

Once again, a true-life story that mark of a true love waits and no else matters.

Finding true love lasts neither overnight nor a whole lifetime.
There's no telling when your soul mate will pass your very eyes,
catching your glance, trigger that tiny slumbering spark inside your heart
and fuel that long awaited feeling to bud.
Waiting may bring you the feeling of frustration
but you'll realize every idle moment spent is sensible
once you landed in the arms of that person.

RIGHT HERE WAITING - Richard Marx

Oceans apart day after day
And I slowly go insane
I hear your voice on the line
But it doesn't stop the pain

If I see you next to never
How can we say forever

Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you

I took for granted, all the times
That I thought would last somehow
I hear the laughter, I taste the tears
But I can't get near you now

Oh, can't you see it baby
You've got me going crazy
Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
(Waiting for you)

I wonder how we can survive
This romance
But in the end if I'm with you
I'll take the chance

If You Don't Know Me By Now

A song written by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff and recorded by the Philly soul musical group Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes (featured the late Teddy Pendergrass as lead vocalist), which became their first hit after being released as a single in 1972.

The song was later covered by the English pop/soul band Simply Red, also becoming their best-known hit after reaching number one on the U.S. Hot 100 on July 15, 1989.

The song expressed a common sentiment - your lady doesn't seem to understand you and you feel like "if you don't know me by now, you never will." Absolutely, one of the best song even after thirty years now.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW ME BY NOW
Simply Red

If you don't know me by now
You will never never never know me

All the things that we've been through
You should understand me like I understand you
Now girl I know the difference between right and wrong
I ain't gonna do nothing to break up our happy home
Oh don't get so excited when I come home a little late at night
Cos we only act like children when we argue fuss and fight

If you don't know me by now (If you don't know me)
You will never never never know me (No you won't)
If you don't know me by now
You will never never never know me

We've all got our own funny moods
I've got mine, woman you've got yours too
Just trust in me like I trust in you
As long as we've been together it should be so easy to do
Just get yourself together or we might as well say goodbye
What good is a love affair when you can't see eye to eye, oh

If you don't know me by now (If you don't know me)
You will never never never know me (No you won't)
If you don't know me by now (You will never never never know me)
You will never never never know me (ooh)

The Greatest Love of All

Spending our time searching and waiting to be loved, hoping that special love will find us one day. Feeling empty and lost without it, wanting someone to give us love and fill us up. Sadly to say, that’s not how life works. We will draw exactly what we create in life, and what we believe we are worthy of.

Personally, I like the illustration by Leslie Karen Lobell, M.A. in her blog - The Art of Loving. Our life is like a vessel, if we keep giving to others without giving to ourselves, it is like pouring water from a vessel and eventually, the vessel will be empty if we keep pouring and pouring without ever refilling it.

Used to think that by giving endlessly all we have is a way to show love, kindness and unselfishness. However, that's not true as it should be giving out from our surplus. Is only when we are overflow and that's when we will have the energy and love to give to the people who we love around us and to the world.

"We have to learn to be our own best friends because we fall too easily into the trap of being our own worst enemies." ~Roderick Thorp, Rainbow Drive

"Greatest Love of All" is an inspirational song beautifully delivered tribute to love ourselves for who we are written by Michael Masser and Linda Creed. The song was the fourth and final single released in April, 1986 from Whitney Houston's.

THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL - Whitney Houston

I believe the children are our are future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
Everybody searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone to fulfill my needs
A lonely place to be
So I learned to depend on me

I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be

And if by chance, that special place
That you've been dreaming of
Leads you to a lonely place
Find your strength in love
